Co Knol (1994, NL) is an artist working with the mediums of photography, video and music. He studied photography and graduated at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam in 2015, after he started a photography bachelor at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.
Being raised by a creative music therapist shaped the perception of the world around me in such a way that I question many things, wanting to understand and trying to explore my misunderstanding of elements in my surroundings, sometimes on a very personal level but always linked back to a more relatable source: the world. I am interested in how what we expect to see affects what we actually observe and what effect it has on us; expectations.
He has exhibited at the VŠVU/AFAD (2017), Bratislava, Slovakia and The Grey Space in The Middle (2018), The Hague, The Netherlands.
